Present: Board of Selectmen – Richard Leone – Chairman, Stephen White – Vice Chairman, Emma Smith, Frederick Gallup, William Roach; Town Manager – Donna Nashawaty; Water & Sewer – Tracy Nangeroni, Aaron Simpson, David Bailey, Ted Gallup, Chris Leonard, Holly Leonard; Perkins Pond Assocation – Gary Szalucka, Robin Saunders, Bill Scharff.
Also Present: Dick Quinlan, Helen Quinlan, Sue Gottling
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Leone.
Discussion was centered around easements and possible routes for the sewer line if the easements could not be gotten. Donna will contact Bruce Jennings and John Wheeler and report back at the next meeting. Aaron Simpson will contact Nancy Kangas regarding the Perry property and report back at the next meeting. If easements cannot be gotten, other routes and pump stations will need to be looked at.
Underwood estimated that 30% would need to be added to the costs given in 1998. $12,000.00 is the cost Underwood quoted to prepare for the RD grant application and the SRF application. $175,000.00 is the amount Underwood quoted for the final design through to the final bids. It was determined that if the plan changed to an alternate route, it would have to be put out to bid again for the grant funding and engineering design.
The next meeting will be on November 10, 2008 at 7:00PM.
